Century Pacific Food, Inc. (PSE:CNPF), one of the leading food companies in the Philippines, was recently recognized at FinanceAsia’s Best Companies 2026. The Group garnered the Gold Award for Best Managed Company among consumer staples in the country. Century Pacific is home to household names and market-leading brands present in 9 out of 10 households in the Philippines, with a growing export business spanning more than 80 markets globally.
FinanceAsia is a Hong Kong-based capital markets publication covering Asia’s evolving business, finance, and investment landscape since 1996. Every year, it presents Asia’s Best Companies Awards, recognizing the region’s leading publicly listed companies based on a poll of institutional investors and equity analysts across Asia.
Chris Po, CNPF Executive Chairman, shared, “It is a great honor to be recognized by the investing community. The past few years have felt like operating in a perma-crisis, with a combination of geopolitical tension, supply chain shocks, and inflation. Through it all, we’ve stayed focused on the fundamentals, delivering on our business needs today while continuing to invest for tomorrow. For us, that’s how we stay true to our mission of delivering affordable nutrition to Filipino households.”
Consistency Through Volatility
Against a volatile operating landscape, CNPF has been able to post consistent, double-digit growth. Over the past five years, CNPF has delivered a revenue CAGR of 12%, while net income compounded at 13% annually. In the first half of 2026 alone, the company delivered ₱45.8 billion in consolidated revenues, up 15% year-on-year, with both its domestic Branded business and its OEM Export business growing double digit.
Propelling this performance is CNPF’s strategy to diversify its business. The foundation remains CNPF’s core portfolio of affordable, everyday proteins—canned tuna, sardines, and meat under brands such as Century Tuna, 555, and Argentina, which have been pantry staples for generations. Building from this base, CNPF has steadily diversified into Milk, Coconut, and emerging categories, including pet food, refrigerated food, and plant-based alternatives. In the first half of 2026, milk, coconut, and emerging categories were among the strongest-growing segments, even as overall consumer spending stayed cautious.
Democratizing Dairy and Investing in Philippine Coconuts
Beyond its core businesses, CNPF is investing behind categories where it sees significant room for long-term growth. Its milk brand, Birch Tree, has grown from a small player to one of the leading powdered
family milk brands in the country. By pairing quality with value, CNPF has helped make powdered milk more accessible to Filipino families, contributing to the growth of the overall category.
Coconut represents a newer growth frontier. By building out product lines from coconut water and milk to oil and other derivatives, CNPF is tapping the Philippines’ natural advantage as a top coconut producer in the world while expanding its presence in global markets. Together, dairy and coconut represent the next generation of growth pillars alongside the Group’s legacy marine and meat businesses.
To support this growth, CNPF is expanding capacity across these categories, with projects expected to generate more than 4,000 manufacturing jobs in Mindanao. These investments further establish the region as a strategic hub for the Group’s coconut and dairy businesses, while creating economic opportunities for local communities and farmers.
People, Planet, Communities: A Win-Win Philosophy
Underpinning CNPF’s growth is a win-win sustainability approach that creates shared value for the business, people, planet, and communities it serves.
Across its portfolio, CNPF leverages its brands as platforms for positive impact. Century Tuna’s Saving Our Seas works with coastal communities to promote ocean conservation and circularity, while Coco Mama has committed 1 million coconut seedlings to smallholder farmers, supporting livelihoods and a more resilient coconut supply chain. Birch Tree’s Nutrition Mission provides milk and nourishment to underserved communities nationwide, while in Bulan, Sorsogon, the Sardine business, through “Padagos, Bulan”, supports fisherfolk livelihoods, responsible fishing practices, and a more sustainable and inclusive sardine supply chain.
CNPF also invests in renewable energy, including coconut-shell biomass fuel and solar power across its facilities, reducing emissions while improving efficiency. Through its partnership with RSPo Foundation, CNPF supports Kain Po, which has delivered over 100 million meals nationwide since 2010.
Creating Lasting Value
Nearly five decades since its founding, Century Pacific continues to be guided by the same mission: making nutritious food more accessible to families. This shapes how the Group navigates uncertainty, invests for long-term growth, builds quality products and relevant brands that earn consumers’ trust, and creates win-win opportunities for its stakeholders. For CNPF, creating lasting value ultimately means staying true to that mission by nourishing more Filipino families today while building a stronger business for generations to come.
